E. coli Recall Notice (December 29, 2025)

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

This recall applies only to Forward Farms Grass-Fed Ground Beef, 16-oz (1 lb) vacuum-sealed packages produced on December 16, 2025, with use-by dates of 01/07/26 and 01/13/26 and EST 2083 printed on the package. Approximately 2,855 pounds are affected. The product was distributed for retail sale in California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Pennsylvania, and Washington. No other products or production dates are impacted.

WHAT SHOULD YOU DO

If you have this product, do not consume it. Please discard it safely or return it to your place of purchase. 

WHAT WE'RE DOING

The affected product has been removed from distribution, and we are working closely with the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS). No online inventory was affected, and the majority of the affected product remains at our warehouse under USDA hold. At this time, no illnesses have been confirmed.
